You heard from someone that buying a specific condo in Phuket comes with a long-stay visa for your entire family. It sounds too good to be true because the pieces do not make sense. Why would buying property in one country automatically qualify you for a resident visa in that country? Most places do not work that way.
Thai property law and immigration law are completely separate. Owning a condo in Thailand does not automatically grant you any visa, no matter the price. But a new program starting October 2025 created a direct pathway between condo investment and long-stay visas.
